Well I don’t know what the passenger in this red Cherokee was talking shit about but it was bad. Maybe he told his buddy that he cheated with his wife. Maybe it was his boss and he told him he was fired. Maybe he found out how much the driver spent on that roll cage and he owed him some scratch. I don’t know what the deal was but I’ve never seen a driver go that hard on such a difficult path unless he wanted to die or kill someone. Remember kids, slow and steady get’s you home on time!

This Jeep Cherokee XJ blew up a head gasket among other things while trying to escape the grip of a mighty mud hole. We’ve all been through something like this haven’t we?  I remember a particularly terrible offroad trip when I was in highschool where we got two trucks stuck so bad that we had to walk 5 miles into town and beg a convenience store owner to close down, get his tractor and pull us out. That day I realized how badass tractors were but that’s another blog post. Watch this Jeep Cherokee XJ owner’s day go from bad to worse as he kills his Jeep.

The logic in this video makes me laugh. It opens with:

“They said…as we were hooking up the winch…nobody’s EVER BEEN PULLED OUT OF THIS HOLE!”

The build-up is epic! So is it a magic hole just full of antique trucks and SUVs and ATVs who got stuck and sank into the Earth’s core? Are there piles of bones that date back to the dinosaurs? Is the hole actually a portal to another realm? It must be if no one has ever been pulled out – in fact that Jeep Cherokee XJ must have its tires resting on top of an old GMC Jimmy at this very moment. But the thing about this video is this…will they get out? Or is this a Blair Witch Project situation where the Jeep and the film crew were sucked into the bowels of the Earth and all that was left was the Nokia phone this video was filmed on? Guess you better watch and find out…if you dare!

I found this video today called Bully VS Jeep Cherokee XJ. Here’s a solid example of why you don’t mess with a vehicle that stands the test of time. It’s also an example of the dangers of peer pressure, and maybe having one too many pints at a hockey game. Good news is the Jeep seems to be damage-free and the owner won’t come back to a destroyed loved one. Watch this Jeep video now!

One thing I want to do with this Jeep blog is share the many iterations of Jeeps that exist in the world. We all have different needs and desires when it comes to our Jeeps and it always helps to look at someone else’s build and cherry pick the things you like and what looks the best. While I was interviewing the guys at Agility Customs about their Rear Steer Wrangler, I saw this beautiful Jeep Cherokee XJ getting worked on and thought I’d ask a few questions. As they say in the video this is a minor entry-level build. This XJ is riding on 33’s, has a short-arm suspension lift kit, and will end up with front and rear lockers. I’d be in hog heaven with this XJ!
