Peter Lammerts’ Custom Floating Jeep Wrangler

This video shows a hydraulic apparatus attached to a Jeep Wrangler that essentially turns it into a pontoon boat at the push of a button. Tired of waiting for the ferry in the morning to pick you up? Well, inventor Peter Lammerts has a product for you! Just strap this massive hydraulic lift to your Jeep and drop some floaties down whenever you want to cross a stream or lake. It’s not the worst idea in the world as long as you don’t need a roof rack I guess. It’s definitely cool to watch and man always wants the ultimate vehicle. If only these pontoons could be raised up and used as wings as well. A flying, sea-worthy, trail-rated Jeep Wrangler? Sign me up!

As you can see in these pictures the floating Jeep is powered by an outboard motor. Not sure if it feeds off the Jeep’s gas tank/steering or if there’s a big pole that passes through the cabin.
