How to Remove the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Side Steps

This is a quick how to remove the side steps on a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL. There are two ways to remove your side steps on your new Jeep. The first way is a bit old school…thrash your Jeep off-road and accidentally dent or break one off. The second way is a bit cleaner and will allow you to go step-less or add aftermarket rails or protection.

Step 1: Locate the nuts on the underside of your Jeep that align with the side steps.

Step 2: Unscrew them

Step 3. You’re done.
